Broadening Food Access

With DoorDash, communities across the country enjoy better access to food, earning opportunities, and connection. Project DASH powers the subsidized delivery of charitable food to those in need.

Project DASH

Launched by DoorDash in 2018, Project DASH empowers social impact organizations—such as food banks and pantries—to work with Dashers and use DoorDash technology to provide local delivery to their communities.

Supporting Innovative Public Policy

We're proud to have made commitments that broaden food access tied to the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health.

Community Credits

Community Credits provides DoorDash gift cards directly to nonprofit organizations to empower the communities that they serve, reduce food insecurity, and expand programs that provide access to opportunity.

SNAP on DoorDash

As part of our commitment to broadening food access, DoorDash accepts SNAP/EBT payments. This helps SNAP recipients—including families with children, seniors, and disabled people—to save time and effort when getting their groceries.
